Is it harder to bring props into HL2 with Ubuntu than it is with Vista?
I just finished learning the ins and outs of creating a prop and bringing it into a Half-Life 2 game using Vista. And for a non-programmer dude that I am I found the whole process somewhat complicated.
I was wondering if this is more complicated with Ubuntu, or not?
Can someone care to share some impressions?
Thanks in advance guys,
JDL
Sure you can!
Just Google Half-life 2 in Linux and among the many leads you'll even find YouTube videos showing Portal, Team Fortress 2, etc
Thanks to WINE.

I'm not familiar with the process of importing this stuff into HL2 but I don't see why there should be any difference. Wine creates a hidden directory in your home directory (/home/youraccount/.wine/drive_c) and puts the program files there, so it's pretty much the same as running on Windows.
