It installs, including DirectX SDK? (which started but quickly skipped to the end) and PhysX, but dies with this error when I go to start it...
"This application has failed to start because d3dx10_42.dll was not found. Re-installing this application may fix this problem."
Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2
DirectX 10
GeForce 9800 GT
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+

Yup, DirectX actually installs stuff for me now, including the missing DLL. The PhysX and VC++ runtime installers detect that they are already installed and ask me if I want to uninstall them now, so I just canceled out of those.
Game starts, plays music, firewall gave me some warning the first time... Options menu item does nothing, going into Campaign seems to work, although the mouse cursor is not clipped to the window so that gets confusing.

Failed to start because of incorrect side-by-side config. The first time I installed it uninstalled PhysX and wouldn't run. So i uninstalled the app and reinstalled (and PhysX reinstalled), but still got the error.

Also, you might want to check if there's any 'quiet' mode you can enable on the DX/PhysX/redist packages, as they launch seperate installers which is kindof annoying.

Alright then I'm guessing it's because you have a 32 bit OS I've still not fixed that.
