Final Fantasy VII was my favorite RPG of all time until I played Xenogears and was blown away by its amazing plot.

I got FFVII on PSN because the only other alternative was to buy a used PS1 copy for $60+. This version is a bargain compared to that. As far as a graphical update to modern quality, I could only assume that SE would need to sell that as a full-priced (or close to full) game in retail stores. The art asset creation costs would be huge, rivaling the art costs of many modern RPGs. I definitely would not expect to see it for $10 - $15 on the Playstation Network.
