Polygon vs Polyhedron

Ok,
This is gonna sound like a really newbie question so i''m sorry, and please no flames. So, what the hell is the difference between a polygon and a polyhedron??

There''s nothing wrong with asking any question, nor are there any stupid questions.
A polygon is a 2 dimensional figure, like a triangle or square.
A polyhedron is a 3d figure, like a cube or pyramid.
