because if he did that we wouldn't be able to get the lulz from someone who is apprently starving and in debt but still maintains an internet connection and has a computer [grin]

I think it's in Denmark that they are talking about turning "Hight Quality Internet Access" into an "Essential Human Right".

And we talk about food...

It was Finland and it was the right for a home to have the option of having 1mb+ internet as a right, rising to 100mb in 2015.

What you can do is, dress nicely, shave, and just be bold and visit a village with homes with preferably big families and ring. If you ask it politely, and make a sad face, I think they'll give you something.

this makes me sad as we don't even have 100mb as a privilege here
It's basically stealing but you can call a fast food joint and mention that an order you placed the night before tasted like garbage (if they ask what you ordered say something very common so they can't track it). You can then go in and get a free meal. Or you can go in and grab a receipt out of the garbage during a busy lunch and say that you were "missing" something you ordered.

The costco tip works too, to get in if you don't have a card tell them you are going to pick up a prescription or that you are thinking about joining and they will let you through. Then you can go and get free samples.

Begging always works, if you tell 10 people you're story at a mcdonald's i'm sure you'll get at least someone to spot you some cash (or at least buy you something).

But I agree with above I think this post is BS.

So... it's a day now. Is it safe to assume that he has sold his computer, been arrested, or has died of starvation and is currently food for a family of raccoons?
I don't know how it is in other states or provinces but here in Alberta we have a 211 phone service which gets you in touch with someone who can advise you of the various social services that are available. Even if there isn't that particular sevrvice in your state I would recomend talking to someone in social services to help you find someone who can help you for the long term.

Yeah I saw that LOL.
Now that I think about how basic health care is not even a basic right here in the US is depressing though.
[size="2"]Don't talk about writing games, don't write design docs, don't spend your time on web boards. Sit in your house write 20 games when you complete them you will either want to do it the rest of your life or not * Andre Lamothe
Around your job (you're the one who gets beat up at work IIRC?) do odd jobs... offer to clean cars or rake leaves... anything that pays you in cash the same day.

Or look under vending machines for a few pennies and buy bargain noodles, beans, whatever.

Or, ask some friends. If you didn't call them fat already...
