I'm somewhat getting bored with L4D, so I'm looking for games with a similar gameplay style: Coop to reach a shared goal. I've tried killingfloor, but I really didn't like it. Any ideas here? Toolmaker

Do you have a platform restriction? Strictly online coop or hot seat action?

PC, online. Alternatively, a generally great MP game would be nice as well. As for the genre: Shooter/RTS.

Ever played DoWII? It's a bit more RPG over RTS, but it remains a fun game and the co-op is pretty well done, join issues aside.

If you want a straight forward shooter then I'd go with GoW2 instead of Ao2. I couldn't stand the latter. I know GoW isn't ground breaking in terms of gameplay but Ao2 felt like such a shallow game in comparison.

Wiki tells me Lost Planet 2 only comes out in December so... [smile]

Its been years, but nothing beats Unreal Tournament 2004 in LAN, with instagib, on that low-gravity map.

Else, COH is still the best RTS to play in MP. DoWII is fun, somewhat, but its not even an RTS anymore.

I really really really enjoy playing Call of Duty: World at War Zombie Mod at my friend's house on XBOX. I'd love to know if I could play it on PC (eg, through steam or something).

Its SO good.
