But this particular one, Andrew Vait is in a contest where if he's voted top 5 he will move on to battle it out for an invite to play at the Austin City Limits festival. The system is broken anyway- people who visit the site are more likely to listen to the top 5 and therefore more likely to vote for them. Epic fail.

And hey, bzroom, if you want your roomamte to win, and he only needs about 15 votes, why don't you create 15 accounts with 15 email addresses and vote for him? It would be an easy way to cheat the system.

He actually has 25 email accounts that he votes with daily :) I set up 2. One of the top rankers has like 20 people in their band. That's potentially 500 votes per day at andrew's rate.

We've tried everything, myspace, facebook, gamedev. We even cut up tiny little fortune cookie size papers and walked around the streets of seattle. Which suprisingly was pretty effective, it took him from 10 to 7 in one night. But it looks like it was not long lived. :( Down by 800 now.

That song missing teeth is pretty good. I dont like the version on the site though. I've heard many live variations of it and it's always WAY better when it's just a raw jam session and no one really follows the plan.

Try this site. The forums are some of the most active I know of on the web and you can keep bumping your posts if you want since there are no mods.

Also try this I've never used that site but I know there are a lot of people who became quite popular on the internet from using it some how.
