I have win xp sp3 with an ati 4850, I managed to get the game to load by downloading and installing Physx even though I don't have an Nvidia card.

My problem is that after I pick up any of the weapons, it won't fire. I am using the mouse. All I can do is run around and die. I don't really need a fix to this since it doesn't affect the music in any way, I just thought someone might like to know about the problem.

Hey,
There is something not pointed out in the first post (or I am a blind man :) ) regarding the legth for the battle/idle tracks. And should the tracks loop or not?

Cheers,
Michal

The length is up to you. There is no requirement.

Regarding looping: if you have some creative reason or approach to having it not loop, go for it! I would wager, however, that most songs are going to loop. You have complete creative freedom!! Do what you feel is best.

Hey guys,

I've heard from some of you but I'd like to get a head count of who is committed to doing this so far. This helps me forcast what kind of workload the judges will have. Feel free to reply here instead of PM.

Also I'm working with Grzegorz on any audio improvements or issues that any of you might have. If you're having an issue please feel free to contact me with the details.

Thanks,

Nate

Nathan,
I'm in it as well.

DM
I have a question about testing the audio files. I placed two dummy .ogg files into one of the test folders after deleting the original test folders, but I can't get them to play in game. I then deleted the both Test folders, created my own 'GHUF' folder and tried that, but still no playback.

Do the files need to a specific name or does there need to be some configuration with the folders?

Please advise.

Thanks!

After the 3rd time of trying to download the demo I still can't fix it. I can download it, but then when I try to get into it it says:

Windows cannot open this file

File: Bloody Massacre Audio contest.rar

To open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows
can go online and look it up automatically or, or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer

What do you want to do?
- Use the Web service to find the appropriate program
- Select the program from a list.

Is anyone else having this problem? I could use some help.
