If there were really good, fool-proof and efficient ways of making lots of money then everybody (or at least considerably larger amount of people) would be wealthy.

Money is useful in order to obtain the goods and services we need and to allow us to live well. Unfortunately, money is useless for attaining true happiness. Find the type of work that fulfils you as person, earn a living for your family, and be content with what you have. I have never met anyone of any social status who was made happy purely by material success.

no matter what field you go into your going to need at least 2-5 years of proving yourself before you reach the salary you want. Then you might find you actually enjoy your job were everyone respects and listens to you.

I think you'll be 35 before your even close to a successful business. Then you might have a family to deal with.

If I were you I'd just do what I'm best at and try to be happy. Otherwise you might be scraping around forever.

Its possible you can run your own business your entire life and never be super wealthy.

Well, the lawyer that I know who is a one-woman business seems to enjoy it. How does she do financially?

Well. Let's just say it's impossible to get her on the phone half the time and she's working through the bank holiday here. So she's got to be putting on 2000 working hours a year. She bills out at between 150 and 250 quid an hour, so she ought to be seeing half a million quid a year.

Obviously I don't know that she does, but she owns FIVE horses and I do know that horses aren't cheap to either get or keep...
