Just downloaded this awesome album from August Burns Red, listening to it right now. Amazon is selling MP3 album downloads for five bucks here. Quite a steal. Definitely recommend this to any game developers, especially if you like metal. After several hours of programming and modelling while listening to this, I can attest to its potential for mental stimulation. [smile] It's got a lot of complex melodies and rhythms, that kind of pull me into an extremely productive state of mind. I especially recommend "Marianas Trench" and "Crusades". [wink] Anyway, just thought I'd put up a shameless plug for this album. Anyone else have similar music?

The scream vocals kill it for me. Disturbed is as far as I'll go in that direction, very occasionally Lamb of God maybe.

Bands like Cynic or Aghora go well for people who want progressive, technical, fusion death metal to work to.
