Hello everyone :-) I'm writing my own 2D platform game. It's my first graphic game and I'm writing it in OpenGL. I was thinking how to develop this game to earn my first cash ;) I'm from Poland and we have here popular devoloper ('Play'). I read that they're paying about 7000 zlotys. It's about 2200 $. They pay in one amount. One pay and no %% from benefit. I was wondering is it possible to develop my game in USA. If yes, who's the most popular developer in USA (and the most 'easiest')?? How much approximately they pay? ;-)
I don't quite follow what you want to do - most developers just employ people to make their own games, they won't give you a grant to make your own game or anything.

If you're looking to hire a developer to make your game for you, and your question is how much a developer would charge, the answer is that it depends on the size and complexity of the game (the length of time it would take to develop it). To find out how much they would charge, you would have to contact them, show them your GDD, and get an estimate.

If you're looking to publish your game, and your question is how much you might get for your game, the answer is that it depends on the game and the publisher. You would have to contact them, show them your game, and get an offer.

I realise that it depends on the game. I know it's hard to answer this question.
I just want to know is it worth to try publish my game in USA.

I'm full beginner, and I mean simple 2D platform game like that:

That's the wrong question to ask. What's the right question to ask?

What's the best publisher? :P :D
Probably Valve, through Steam. The amount they would pay you really depends on the game. A small 2D game would probably relate best to what they pay Popcap for their games...

... but I'm really not sure how much that is. Also the game has to be very well polished.

How do you know practice in Poland? It is here as in any other place in the world, game studios hire programmers to make the product. Play is a small publisher that in fact buys small games form independent teams and that is all.
