Help!!!

Hey guys im new to the site and i came here because i need help,and im sure all of you guys can help I need you guys to tell me if Train2Game is legit it is run bu Tiga (TIGA is the national trade association that represents game developers in the UK)now that make me feel a little better but there are rumours that its a scam and i signed up for the Game design course what takes 2 years to complete,all i have ever wanted to be is a game designer and i want to no 1. is it a scam 2. even if it isnt a scam would people take me seriously in the game Industry with a Tiga Diploma, sorry if i posted it in the wrong place but i dont no where to post it if you guys could help that would be great
What will you do if you find out that this particular option has to go by the wayside?
Have you considered this option as compared to other options? Or is this the only and best option you can take?

Well as im not acidemic this is my only path, i no i can pass but will a tiger diploma be reconized by the Games Industry
If this is your only option, what does it matter?
I repeat - what would you do if we said it wasn't?

BTW, what does "recognized" mean anyway?

Their 'developer' curriculum looks like what you would find as a list of chapters in a "learn bad C++ and make awesome games in 24 hours" book. Yeah im doing the Game Design course im not sure if it a good course but its the only game design course open to me so i took the opertunity
Why couldn't you go to a real school?

The website of that "school" doesn't say anything that makes me believe you're going to learn anything useful from them...
