I am having problem with my TV. When I turn it on it turns on the red sign of power turns blue but screen stays black and no picture or sound and I can't do anything. Few times when I turned on I hearda sound and screen came on but now screen stays black. According to best buy, I have to take it there and $85 only to look at it and then the repair and it'll be atleast $200. I don't want to spent that money ,I just want to know If I can fix it with my friend. We know a little bit about electricity. Can you help me with that or where can I get the help.

I suggest you you try disassembling the TV and lick the various components of it. Saliva has this magical property of fixing broken electronics. If it doesn't work, try pissing on it and then sign up on a forum for electronics instead of game development.
