Im just wondering which one you like better and why, post your thoughts :) Oh yea mine is Diablo, i just like the series better.

StarCraft. I love the frantic pace, even though I'm not especially good at it.

i liked starcraft,but all i did was roam around in that giant open-world. it was cool though.

I much prefer the richer gameplay of RPGs so Diablo FTW.

I prefer Apples to Oranges because I like green fruit.

I enjoyed and was terrible at both. I think that I'm fundamentally incapable of not sucking at RTS games, and the same instinct that tells a player when to hit the stimpacks is responsible for using mana potions, I think.

The fast pace and ready rewards of Diablo were a turnoff, although I understand that they're a selling point for most. WoW falls flat for me for the same reasons. StarCraft is like Smash Brothers for me. If I'm dealing with people in my skill bracket it's a deep, rewarding gameplay experience, but I understand that there's a whole world above and beyond me that I'll never be able to inhabit. My brushes with the inhabitants of that world are brief and excruciating.

At the end of the day, I think that all the things I love about both games are more aptly and comprehensibly contained in Dwarf Fortress.

RTS's are stressful. Too much investment for too little chance at too little reward.

Diablo is instantly fun, simple enough to relax while playing, and addictive enough to last for a long time.

I am too depressed by the lack of LAN play in D3 and SC2 to even ponder this topic. :(
