I tried to build the ScriptString add-on on the newest version of glibc (2.10.1) and it failed because sprintf is declared in stdio.h. I assume this was declared some where else in previous versions (perhaps string.h?), as it has no issues in Ubuntu 9.04 which is using glibc 2.9. So any way including stdio.h fixes it.
