I don't know if this is just my keyboard or something but if i press (and hold down) three keys one after the other in notepad then usually the last key will trail on forever but when I use certain combinations of the three keys, this doesn't happen. for eg. qwhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we <-- 'c' was supposed to follow but doesn't get recognised (this is only when I hold the three keys down together) is this just me?

Their exact capabilities are describe by the property known as Rollover.

If you have a keyboard that supports N-Key rollover like the Das Keyboard, you won't run into this. However, it costs more, so few keyboards do it.

Most of the "gaming" class keyboards don't. Again, they are stupidly expensive too, but I guess you get what you pay for.
