/usr/lib/libGL.so deletes itself

Every time I reboot my computer, the symlink /usr/lib/libGL.so deletes itself. I could never figure out why, so I just kept remaking the symlink whenever I compiled my engine, but now it is starting to get annoying. Can anyone shed some light?

I don't imagine the file is deleting itself. Something else may be deleting it.

The answer to your problem required more information. For example, what OS are you using? Assuming a Linux-based OS, what OpenGL package are you using, where did you get it, and how did you install the -dev (or -devel) package that provides that file?

Hm, I probably could have worded that better. The file is missing upon start up, with little explanation. Not sure what, but it could be something with how the nVidia drivers are installed. I am running Debian Linux, and I installed through the terminal installer from nVidia's site, version 173.14.18.
