Cool demo. I get about the same fps as you (in the readme) looking at the flag. 10 hours from scratch, not bad at all. I didn''t see any problems. Code looks good too. I''m always afraid to release mine. No matter how much I clean it up, I always think it looks terrible.

I think your demo was okay =)
However, I got about 230 FPS! My pc is only a PII450@504 with a geforce 6800 deluxe and 128 megs of apacer RAM.
