Hi, We are coming up with our 2D causal platformer game with XNA. We are planning to use some/any of the following words in our game. * Adventure * Legend * Fairytale * Prince * India * Exotic The game title will be •The Legend of Prince X •The Indian Fairytale •The Adventures of ________ (similar to the “Legend of Zelda” where Zelda will be replaced by our Main character name) •Prince of India (sorry if it sounds cheesy) •Exotic Adventures from India (might sound like an adult game ..not sure) I was wondering if there was any copyright for any these words or game titles? Can anyone please guide me regarding this? Warm Regards, Abhinav

Certainly not the words (unless they're made-up words), but a specific combination of words could be trademarked (you can't copyright names). So yeah, you should pay attention and avoid the game name to be similar to the name of some other game.

Of course, I'm not a lawyer, so you may want to get advice from a lawyer and research more, though I'm pretty sure that what I said is right.
Don't pay much attention to "the hedgehog" in my nick, it's just because "Sik" was already taken =/ By the way, Sik is pronounced like seek, not like sick.
