So now that this virus can spread human to human, how many of you are worried? wiki Why is the death toll for Mexicans so much higher than Americans from this virus thus far? I would assume secondary infections or complications that Americans either have resistances to, or have more proper medical treatment for. I had symptoms akin to this virus (fever, sore throat, upper respiratory distress) about a week ago, and just recently had some relief from them. The people in the US seem to have an immunity to it. The people in new york and other areas seem to be recovering and it's not life threatening. I just watched a news special on it.

You nailed it! The cure for the swine flu is to eat more bacon! The bacon has pig anti-bodies in it so by eating lots of bacon, you'll build up an immunity to the pig flu virus! Quick, get fox news on the line. Headline: "How eating more bacon can spare your life from the next black death!"

The notion that a person could catch swine flu from eating bacon is hilarious, yet it appears to be catching on among fans of right wing radio. The misinformation flu is at pandemic levels. Cover your nose! Wash your hands! Be polite! See a doctor! (If you can afford it).
