I think I broke my toe

So I was playing with my niece today and ran into a wall with my pinky toe. It hurt like hell, but I didn't think much of it. Then I just took off my sock: it's ugly. My dad said he did something similar once, but they didn't put him in a cast. Should I see the doctor?

Probably. Is it bent at an unnatural angle?

There isn't a whole lot that they can do for a broken toe, from what I understand.

Yes. Go to a hospital, take some x-rays of it, and if it is in the wrong place make someone to place it as it should.

NOW!

You will need an X-ray to know for sure whether it's a break or just a bad sprain. They may or may not do something about it, I'm not really sure how toe injuries go.

If you stubbed it today and it swells up and hurts worse tomorrow, then you probably broke it. Twenty years ago I dropped a bookcase on my big toe and broke it. I had to wear a "funky shoe" for a month or so. Broken toes suck.

Ya, definitely get an xray taken. I had a fractured knee cap I didn't get checked for over a week a few years ago, and it was in a cast for almost 3 months because of worsened condition.

I'm almost certain that this is a symptom of AIDS.
I've seen this before. The guy didn't get it treated. Turned out it was aids. tstrimp is onto something.

I, as a fully qualified non-doctor, agree with this statement.
