Hi dudes! I'm looking for an online word processor (to write a design document with a friend of mine who lives in other city). Something like google apps, but with the possibility to watch differences between versions or history. Do you understand me? Thanks a lot for your help.
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
Every wiki I know has that. Maybe google for a free (but private access) wiki, or if you have some space to host, install a wiki on your server.

edit: Another method could also be to use some version control: Work locally on your document, check it in, and everybody can look at the diff's. But that's not as dedicated as wikis.
IMHO, Google Sites is the best way to create a free, privately or publicly accessible wiki when you don't care about rebranding the wiki too much. It has a WYSIWYG editor instead of forcing you to use wiki syntax, so it's pretty much a collaborative word processor with history and links. It's awesome.
Thanks for replies!

But my workmate, who is an artist, don't like WIKIs, well, me neither. We would prefer something more friendly, like MS WORD or OPEN OFFICE but online.

Any idea?

Office Live Workspace supposedly lets you store documents online (and you can save and open them from Word directly if you install a plugin). I've not used it to any great extent but it may be worth a look.

MS Word tracks history, you just have to enable the track changes option.

Not sure what version you're using, I know it's supported since '97.

It will strike out in red any deletions and mark in blue any additions. The data behind the deletions and additions is stored in the margin with the date and owner of the changes. If you want to show the latest document you can just enable the "show final" option.
Wait, Google Apps does remember differences between revisions. Right click the file and select "Revisions"... Or did I misunderstand?
Don't you mean Google Docs?

YES!!! It has it. I didn't know that, thanks a lot, I will use it.

And I can compare them, that's fantastic.
