The Joester Loria Group is the exclusive licensing agency for Discovery Communications, the largest non-fiction media company in the world with access to 1.5 billion homes. We are seeking a licensees interested in publishing/developing interactive games based on Discovery’s IP’s (Animal Planet, Discovery, and/or their key television shows such as Man vs. Wild, Whale Wars, Deadliest Catch, Dirty Jobs, Shark Week, One Way Out, Fight Quest, Cash Cab, Storm Chasers, Treasure Quest, etc) on various platforms such as mobile, console, DS, MMO’s, software, etc. For a complete list of Discovery Communications IP’s and television shows, please visit their website at http://corporate.discovery.com/ One of our immediate objectives is developing their Animal Planet brand into a suite of casual games (children 4 to 10) targeting domestic pet and/or wildlife that will compete against Ubisoft Petz franchise on Nintendo DS and Wii. We are also open to other games that focus on older demographics that relate to some of the shows that are airing on Animal Planet. MMO’s is also of immediate interest in discussing as we have been approached by various companies. Upon request we will forward you a detail overview on Animal Planet (aired in 166 countries/300 million households) and our merchandise programs that are currently selling at retail and/or launching later this year. Depending on the business terms (financial guarantees, royalty rates, marketing commitment outside of Discovery, etc) Discovery Communications will support their licensees in marketing games on air across their television networks, websites, cross merchandise with consumer products, DVD sales, VOD, and aggressive PR in driving consumers to purchase Discovery Communications interactive products at retail, e-stores, wireless carriers, and/or through their own websites. If you’re interested in learning more about Discovery Communications, please forward me your contact information, which IP and/or television show are you interested in, and I will send you additional information on that particular property. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, James Slifer Vice President, Business Development The Joester Loria Group 860 Broadway | New York, NY 10003 P: (212) 683-8548 F: (212) 689-3300 jslifer@tjlgroup.com | www.joesterloriagroup.com
You might have more success contacting publishers directly, rather than posting speculatively on independent game development forums.
