i was talking about the touchpad. i never use mice at notebooks.

and that twobutton mouse from apple is crap, yes. but the os can react on rightclicks, that's true. just the mousepad doesn't deliver it right now to windows, making the macbook less portable compared to normal notebooks (you don't always want to use a mouse if you just open it in your hand to show some date, or some piece of code, or what ever, one handed. and yes, i happen to do that quite often with my notebook).

The touchpad works fine for right clicking in windows. Are you sure you have all the bootcamp drivers up to date? I can use the two finger click in either bootcamp or vmware fusion without trouble.
i don't have a macbook myself. but nice they got it resolved.
If that's not the help you're after then you're going to have to explain the problem better than what you have. - joanusdmentia

If you run a virtual windows machine, it is actually running through the MacOS drivers.

I installed Vista only about 3 weeks ago and while touchpad scrolling works (erratically), right-click doesn't. Originally, it did... but then I wanted tap-to-click and that broke it... and undoing this didn't change things.

Maybe they released a fix in the last few weeks? I'm not sure how to make sure I have latest drivers...

Make sure your Windows is set to scroll only one line at a time. That fixed the majority of my bootcamp Windows scrolling problems.

When I first ran bootcamp the two finger right click didn't work, it required a three finger click for some reason, but I believe there is a patch that fixes it. I'll look around to see if I can find it again.

I'm using the Late 2008 unibody Macbook if that makes any difference.
