Demo Reel Question

Right now i am coding a physics engine, it is coming along well, but my questions is should i put physx demos i create in the demo reel too. I am learning the SDK for a project and i thought since i will put it down as one of the skills i have acquired maybe i should put some demos in, but will this type of thing turn employers off because it is more 'easy' to create fluid and cloth demos in Physx than in a engine i have made my self. I guess in summation i am asking, is it beneficial to put both my physics engines demos and Physx Demos on my demo reel. --Cheers
Well, if your engine does cloth, then show that and say "my physics", rather than showing both. You could also show them side by side to compare yourself to a professional cloth simulation. If they need a physX programmer and you say on your resume you have 'x' years expereince, then your fine.

In the end, HR never views portfolios, so just list in your resume that you have physX experience. Then list your engine as a project you worked on and what you did.
