Collectors Edition games - useless drinking flasks

Empire Total War comes with a stainless steel 3oz whiskey flask, but on the back of the box it says the flask is "not intended to be used as a drinking vessel". Why give me a flask (especially a proper stainless steel one) and then tell me not to drink out of it? Any advise on ways to make it functional? Cleaning solutions? [EDIT]While I'm ranting at Empine - why did they feel the need to attach a DRM solution that makes the game take an extra hour for me to install? *grrr*
I'm sure you can drink out of it. They just want to avoid any bad publicity from turning ETW players into drunkards. [grin]
So when there's some media coverage about underage ETW players getting flasks they can just point to the sticker that says "not intended to be used as a drinking vessel".
while (tired) DrinkCoffee();

I'm sure it's just a CYA legal move. That way if someone manages to find a way to drown themselves using one they can claim they "weren't using the device as intended".

Or maybe it's lined with lead.
Is there a picture of this flask? If you drank out of it, would it still be a collector's item? (That said, if you don't drink out of it, would it be a collector's item?)

If you think that is bad, just think about those of us that read that there would be a pre load, and bought it on steam. Some surprise to us!

Oh well, at least I did get to play it yesterday afternoon, I just wish they had provided proper documentation on things! I hate playing a new game and having to GUESS at what something does, or how some feature works. Not to mention I've found a very annoying interface error. You can delete units very quickly, with no confirmation. To top this off you can use ctrl-d to do so! After switching from a small selection of units to the full army with ctrl-a, and then going to scroll the map (because some dimwit failed to test the game with dual screen.) I've accidentally deleted whole full stack armies.

If anything, 'deleting/disbanding' a unit should FLAG them, and then clean them up at the START or END of the round! Give players a chance to unflag them!

I have a darwinia key chain.I don't know why.
I played the demo. It's okay I guess.. I'll probably buy it when it's cheaper.

The dual screen problem (scrolling to the right, where my other screen is, just puts the cursor on the other screen) is really, really annoying. Many recent high-profile games do this (CNCRA3 is one). It's annoying to have to disable my 2nd monitor before I play the game, or use the keyboard to scroll. I use the keyboard about 70% of the time in TW games, but I like the option to use the edge as well.

I honestly don't know why companies don't support 2 monitors atm. It worked well with Supreme Commander. I play SOASA right now, and hate that I can't use my 2nd monitor... it seems so simple to implement, and it would be very, very useful.

Oh, and use the flask. It's not like it's going to kill you.

Wow, thanks for the heads up about ctrl-d!
My 2nd monitor is on the left, so I have to use the A key instead of using the mouse on that side.

It does smell like "new plastic smell", which is why I was looking for cleaning advice...

I think there is a Win32 function that locks the cursor within a certain rect - do you guys think its possible to write a 3rd party app that dual-monitor users could run before running a game to fix the lack of support?
It would be much better than disabling our monitors.

There is a program to do this, (but right now it's late and I can't find it), that will trick your computer into thinking the multimonitors are just 1 monitor with an insanely huge width. I believe it requires the same brand monitors to work though (or at least the same vertical resolution), but don't quote me on this. I'll try to find the program tomarrow and link it here.

*EDIT*

While you already have the program you're looking for, as for the Win32 function, what you're after I believe is ClipCursor.
