This is my first time coloring a anime with photoshop tell me what you guys think ^_^ http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh187/jeffanddane/Shadowcopy.jpg?t=1236060718
Good, but there is a weird artifact in the top left corner. Right above the dark cloud there is a line.

For those of you who are too lazy to copy and paste the URL (I almost was), here is the picture:

When eyes have awhite hilight/shiny spot, this is reflected light. Since both eyes are reflecting light from the same source, the shine has to be in the same place on both eyes, either both should be in the upper right corner or both should be in the upper left corner. Deciding where your light source was would also help with the shadows on the face, although they aren't bad.

Lovely color choices. [smile] The only think I don't think quite works is the sponge or whatever filter added the grayish splotches in the skin tone.

I want to help design a "sandpark" MMO. Optional interactive story with quests and deeply characterized NPCs, plus sandbox elements like player-craftable housing and lots of other crafting. If you are starting a design of this type, please PM me. I also love pet-breeding games.

yeah sorry mike i didnt know how to post the url with the picture showing in the comments sorry D:

No worries [smile]. The forums here allow you to use some HTML in your posts, so if you do

<a href="http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh187/jeffanddane/Shadowcopy.jpg?t=1236060718">Link to picture</a>

You'll get a link like this: Link to picture.

Alternatively, you can embed the picture by using the HTML img tag (that's what I did). Anyway, I just wanted to give some little posting tips :)

Back to the picture. I too love the colors. The placement of the person is nice too (i.e. rule of thirds). But now that I look closer, I can see even more artifacts in the background. They are all lines like I pointed out in my first post. They're just kind of scattered throughout the background.
