I stopped playing games. Am I broken?

I've experienced this a bit recently, too. I blasted through GoW2 with my brother, but the last game I completed was Dead Space, and I stretched that out for a long time. I think it took me three or four weeks to complete, playing a couple of hours at a time. That felt like a good pace.

I spent a lot of my youth playing games, time that I don't consider wasted, but... well, I only play them occasionally now. I've made a conscious effort to spend my free time doing things which I feel are somehow more worth-while - swimming, ju-jitsu, going to the gym, socialising. A change of perspective, perhaps. Games have a time and place, like everything else.

I do love making them, though.
My opinion is a recombination and regurgitation of the opinions of those around me. I bring nothing new to the table, and as such, can be safely ignored.[ Useful things - Firefox | GLee | Boost | DevIL ]
