My ideal game
My ideal game doesn't exist anymore. I once had a game I enjoyed playing!
but due to changes to the basic of the game it is no more.
These things i really think are important:
the platform should be a kind of isometric. A bit like Dungeon siege but with the difference that in DS you have to point and click to move. Personally i think point and click system is boring. I'd rather see movement with direction keys and use the mouse to target a monster or other people if you like pking.
There should be a maximum level of your overall character and skills. You level by getting experience. The skills are for example blades, axes, polearms, etc
Some monster should drop magical items, for example kobold drops different types of helms, orcs drop different types of gloves, etc etc etc
There could be stats on some armor, but not so that the game is gearbased. After a break of a few months and you aint a hardcore player, you still have a chance to fight an enemy player.
No factions, because factions take alot of freedom. I like to think of Good, neutral, evil standing. When you die you have a 20% chance of dropping one equipement piece + full backpack.
To access some places there should be some quests, like important place where you can get some better weapons. Not to overpowered ofcourse. Well maibe a few more powerfull weapons, but everyone needs to have the chance to get it. No bosses like wow where you need 25people to kill them for best gear in game. Bosses prevent freelance gaming. Its fun sometimes to grind alone and get something worth your while. Grinding monsters is kinda big aspect of the game. There should be all kinds of monsters, those who are easy soloable, then there are monsters you can tank 1-2 in a row and then need to pot some, or get healed by a mage.
Yes there are three classes, Mage, Warrior, Ranger.
Stats are Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Constitiution.
Strength: more strength is more damage, and more you can carry.
Dexterity: more chance of a monster missing you. (PVE stat)
Intelligence: more intel means more magical damage
Constitution: more healthpoints
Thats it for now. If i come up with more. i'll add more.
