Hi I'm looking to start making music for my flash games but have no idea what freeware is out there for making music. I'm looking for some simple digital instruments such as a keyboard with multiple effects to use. Also looking for freeware.

For free digital instruments try googling "Free VST" and you'll come up with TONS! Not all of them are the greatest or easiest to work with, but it will give you plenty to choose from.

I recommend to check out a "Computer Music" magazine.

They usually contain the "CM Studio" on each mag which contains everything to get started. Theres a sequencer, audio editor, effects & about 15 soft synths (virtual instruments). I think you will find a decent free "workstation" sampler vst on there also, with some decent stock sounds, piano, organs etc.

Seriously I have bought a few "semi pricy" instrument libraries but there are resources I got for free from computer music mag i find myself using here and there also, it's a pretty good mag for free or demo resources IMO.

I should really get a job with them shouldn't I?
