i need help with audacity whenever i try to import a song from itunes it becomes short and i cant hear the song. is there any way to import the song to its regular speed and length.
I wish I could help out, but I've never worked with Audacity. I suggest looking at forums (related to Audacity) or the manual if you haven't already. If none of that works out, hopefully someone else can help you out.

Thanks,

Nathan

Edit- sorry for typing Reaper earlier. :)

It sounds like you're trying to import a song from one sampling rate to another sampling rate.

Ideally, what you would like to do is investigate the sampling rate settings in your import or file settings.

You will need reaper to RESAMPLE your file to the new sampling rate if it doesn't do this automatically.

Beyond that, I don't know how to use reaper.

Is it just me, or did that guy say Audacity, not Reaper...?

Anyway, same applies, you need to adjust the sample rate settings of the project before you import.

Wow- I was more tired than I thought. I saw his user name "reaper" and automatically started with my answer. Well, my answer still applies as I haven't used Audacity either. :)
