Navigation Library
Hi
Is anyone aware of an open source or free Navigational library for managing waypoint-pathing systems?
Guess I should write my own, but thought it would be nice to study a comprehensive package if such a thing is available.
Regards
Hi,
Did you look up OpenSteer library from Craig Reynolds (opensteer.sourceforge.net)?
It has a few samples which might interest you (exerpts from the site):
- MapDrive: path-following through map-based obstacles using curvature-based prediction and steering.
- Pedestrians: 100 agents follow a path (the red line) and try not to collide with each other or two large spherical obstacles.
I guess this should get you started.
Ghostly yours,
Red.
