I am making an mmorpg and it is my first commercial project.I am having trouble finding out wheather or not there are laws to online gaming activity.Can you all list at least one law to an mmorpg.

Online gambling is illegal in the US (last I heard). It is not illegal to make an online game, provided you're not promoting or providing a way to do illegal activity. As a side note, developing an mmo is a huge task and these questions should be the least of your concerns until you have a playable demo of your title. Otherwise, you're really wasting your efforts on things that won't matter if you don't even get as far as a simple demo. Hope this helps.

If it's a commercial project, then your lawyer should be able to answer any legal questions.

You need to be careful what words you use to describe your project. The term Gaming usually means gambling and there are lots and lots of restrictions on online gambling. Game development/publishing is refered to as the game/games industry. It is a small but very important difference you need to be careful of when asking for advice.
