Creating an occlusion map with low res model and high res normal map detail
Hi, I’m starting the world of game design (Maya and Zbrush) and as needed I made a low res mesh of my model then the high res one.
When had that done I realized my low res model was too dense and reduced the mesh and triangulated it, leaving me two different UV sets. That didn’t matter to do the normal maps but now I need to do the occlusion maps and I don’t know any procedure to do it.
Basically I have a low res mesh with normal maps (and a high res without UVs) and I would like to do the occlusion maps for the low res with the high res details… Is that possible?
