Tri Strips
Hey all,
So I am doing some research on tri-strips on models, and there is actually not much info on the web about them... or shall I rather say working with them!
I understand the principals behind them and the hardware.. but how is the best way to edit them, for example... I am working in Max and there is no plugin that shows the tri strips and updates them realtime as you rotate tris, etc!!
Any info on this would be awesome!!

Max normally works with triangle lists, its common for an engine to then convert the triangle lists to triangle-strips through "stripification". There are a number of papers on "stripification" see:

Aaaah, so the engine (or exporter tool) does the stripification?! Interesting! So if you know how your engine stripifies then you could supposedly write something for max...
This lead my thoughts to the question... is there a standard method that is just commonly used?!?!
