Hey guys. Just a quick question. My game is almost ready. All I really need now is such a sound effect: The plane is hit, but not die. I want to active two sounds here. One sound is my missle exlosion, which I already have. I am looking the other sound effect, which is when the plane is hit by the missle, but not die, it should generate a sound. Thanks in advance for any help

Do you want the sound of the missle hitting the plane, but not exploding or do you just want the sound of metal hitting metal to make your existing explosion sound better? if you have an audio sequencer, you can collect a few samples off the internet and combine them to make the desired sound using the sequencer. i once used the sound of something hitting a steel barrel mixed with a creaking wooden floor to simulate a car scraping a wall. just search for the seperate elements of the sound and combine them. dont know if thats what you were asking...

i think i'd slowly crunch a soda can in front of the microphone, then extract out a variety of sounds to modify (EQ, reverb, etc.)
I think that when a plane is hit by a missile, the explosion muffles the other sounds...

If the plane is hit by something that does not produces its own sound, then you will probably hear the sound of impact with the material (the same sound that you hear when shooting a alluminium door is heard when you hit a airplane made of aluminium), the sound of cracking things (like when the aluminium, wood and glass crack and shatter) and the sound of ricochet (when the bullets, stone, shreds or wathever hit the plane and rebound, even if it does damage the plane)
