Hi! All, I'm using 3ds max 9. If I add edit poly modier to a teapot and then if I select vertex from sub-level I don't see those blue vertex points. Also, I don't see the yellow points in the line (from shape). How to fix these? Please help.
I can't quite remember the hotkeys for these things right now, but the easiest thing you can always do is delete the 3dsmax.ini file in the root directory of the max folder. This will reset all of your settings and it will create a new one when you restart max.
Its also good for those elusive problems like your render window being off the screen somewhere, as all of this information is hled in the .ini file.

Edit: After some quick researching it seems Autodesk has moved the .ini file from the root directory to C:\Documents and Settings\yourUserName\Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\

There is a checkbox under Customize>>Preferences>>Viewport that toggles the display of vertices as dots.

Hi! Jarrod1937,

Thanks, but it didn't work.

But problem is solved. If I change the graphics mode from opengl to software, its works. Don't know why :).
