Hello everyone, I have been working on a 2D GUI system for my game engine for the last 2 days. This is what I have gotten so far: I was curious if any artist on here could help me out, maybe make some skin sets for me, as my Paint skills don't do the system much justice. I would appreciate any help. Download the template here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nznjbbyncto
Edit you post to provide a title - it increases you likelihood of a reply by a lot ;)

Nice work on your GUI so far though!

Yeah, that's pretty butch. I don't have time, sadly, to create a GUI for you, but I have some good advice, even if you're just using paint. Use alpha channels alot! Anything with a 50% alpha, then a 100% border (opaque) looks real slick, especially when you put your cursor over it and the alpha value decreases. Also, try to make all the borders the same width if they're in the same style.

If you have photoshop, though, you could do better ;)
I use Paint.NET, free, and works. I also have Photoshop.

Also, I use alpha channels :)

Ja, but you are only using them to shape the edges. Try giving the frame-background colour a 50% alpha, and see how that looks [smile]
