I have a problem with voodoo 2 card. I installed the newest (openGL) drivers, but rendering is still slow, like in software mode. Thaks, AIR
Its because it is software rendering :-) the voodoo2 opengl drivers arent full implemented (no window rendering) and therefore they have chosen not to overwrite the standard ms opengl32.dll. There are serveral solutions to this. One of them is to:

Extract newest reference drivers (and install them too), find 3dfxvgl.dll (or its simelar named, cant remember it. Maybe it was 3dfxogl.dll, "3dfx" and "gl" is part of the filename) rename it to opengl32.dll and either overwrite the one in windows\system or place it in your project/release/debug directories.

or detect and load the 3dfxvgl.dll manually.

if you run w2k and you use the overwrite method, the one in the file protection cache has to be replaced first.

I''ve tried what you advised me, but it doesn''t work. When I overwrite Opengl32.dll with 3dfxvgl.dll and run an opengl application, windows automaticaly overwrites it back to original Opengl32.dll. I''ve tried to restart computer first, but effect is the same.
Ok.. maybe I''ve missed something, but if you don''t know, don''t bother.. I''m planning to buy Geforce anyway
