tips or links for creating isometric game art?
i want to try my hand at making a small iso rpg to see if ive got what it takes, but i need help in the art department.
i was wondering if anyone could offer a few hints or tips or links on creating isometric art (quality is really the least of my concerns as long as it looks distingushable, i.e. the man looks like a man). any help is appreciated.

also: how many frames per animation is sufficiant not to look still-frame but the least you can do and still look good?

Handrawn art or pixels from the computer? As for your second question, it depends on the quality of your sprite. An 8bit nes type looking sprite won''t need as much frames to walk north unlike a fully detailed sprite from the latest playstation game. Usually, for a sprite like the 8bit nes one, it would take 2-3 frames for each walking direction.
