game dev outsourcing?
I run a small one-person company, and I have too many projects to do them all myself. So now I have to do the thing I've been dreading... I have to outsource at least one of my projects. Can anyone recommend a good dev company that outsources for others? Are there any dev companies that I should avoid?
ama, you have to choose a game developer based on numerous criteria. You can't seriously expect to get the perfect developer for your project without our knowing your needs.
1- genre, platform, engine
2- experience
3- reliability, track record, reputation
4- price
5- availability, willingness
I recommend you start with the Companies tab on Gamasutra, and develop a target list by starting with criterion 1 above. You can look up games comparable with your project on the Internet, then find out who developed them, check out their websites... stuff like that. You can't really expect to get your problem solved by a broadcast post on a forum.

Do you mean outsourcing as in offshoring to Asia, or do you mean subcontracting? If the latter, you could post in Help Wanted because there are people (like me) who do this kind of thing.

No you don't. You could simply choose not to do the extra projects.
