Space dome ?
Hi,
does somebody know a ressource/tutorial or can somebody give me a hint or two about texturing a spac edome for a space combat game ?
Currently, I am trying to map a huge sphere (10 000 Km large)
with a single 1024x1024 map, but this leads to stretching and ugly artifacts.
Maybe I am using the wrong approach, maybe I should use parts of
polygons and map those separatly instead of trying to map that huge sphere as a whole ?
I am trying to get similiar space background as those seen in games like EVE or I-War 2...
