HAHAHA! I know that exact feeling! I agree too that Halo 3 is mediocre and Bioshock has a lot more going for it. But since I don't like the stale re-hashed franchise games I too am told that "Your not a gamer!" lol. I didnt realize it was a club or anything. Guess I better go get my membership :P

Truth is most of the people that call themselves "gamers" really know nothing about the industry, its workings, or anything outside the scope of the "cool games". Theres a guy in my office who every day has some sort of game tshirt on, he has a $9500 gaming computer that seems to only play call of duty 4, claims to be an expert on videogames but couldnt tell me who Shigeru Miyamoto was. *smile* hm....



Oh ya....I HATE crocs too! Theyre just so f-ing ugly but I dont think that classified as close minded because its style related not substance related so its more of an opinion but I could be wrong.

Unfortunatly that just shows that there are plenty of people out there that could care less about gameplay and more about flashy graphics.

Here's the thing: Every time I've told someone just how hideous crocs look, they tell me how practical they are. I'm told how comfortable they are, how they're easy to slip on but don't slip off, how well they work in wet conditions, etc. Basically, they're saying they don't mind that it doesn't have flashy graphics so long as it has good gameplay.

Crocs can be dangerous in escalators, I tried to find the link but I remember reading about a woman who got some severed toes because of it.

theres plenty of people that stand all day and it can end up hurting their feet. I started wearing crocs to see if maybe that would help mine since I had the same issue. Had no pain, and until I found a decent shoe and bought some insoles they were a good replacement until I found those shoes, which still ended up costing nearly 2x as the crocs. Besides, I didn't buy those ugly bright orange ones or anything, I got the black ones lol
