Hi, I have an interview with a developer who has created some mmo games that i have spent countless hours enjoying. The only problem is, i played them on emulated servers! How should i convey the fact that i have played their games and know the products well yet avoid mentioning that i played for free? And what should i do if they ask me what server/character name ect? Thanks for your time. Dan.
Buy the game. Play it on there server.
The UNIX philosophy basically involves giving you enough rope to hang yourself. And then a couple of feet more, just to be sure.I love the risk.

I highly doubt that they will ask you your server and character names.

If it comes up, mostly likely the conversation will go like this:

Them: Are you familiar with any of our games?
You: Yes, I have played a lot of <game> online, and it's fun. I've also played <game> and <game>.
Them: Great. Tell me a few things about those games that you would improve?
You: I wasn't prepared for that question.
Thanks for your answers.

I am prepared though :P

My opinions on these games led me to game dev in the first place hehe.
