I'am not really sure where to post this thread, so I post it here. My question is did anyone know something more about ESRB rating. This rating is on some well-known games, and I know what each letter means. What games need to be rated and is this important?

Read the ESRB FAQ.
ESRB is a voluntary system used mainly for retail games. It costs money to get a game rated so unless you are going to sell at retail and sell a lot it probably isn't realistic. - you might want to display your own Age Rating info if you think your game is likely to be bought by parents for their kids.
