Are we talking about the same 4 Elements contest here? This year's elements are Ponies, Accountants, Crystals and Explosions...
"Game Programming" in an of itself does not exist. We learn to program and then use that knowledge to make games.

I like your idea though... You could make teams interesting by giving bonuses and special abilities based on the elements that your team is composed of...
