fullScreen Problem
Hey, can anyone give me some info on a problem that I have. I''m writing a 3d-engine, but there seems to be some problem when I go into full screen mode. The Framerate is great in a window, but drops to almost 0 after I enter full screen mode (I believe that it is being forced into software mode some how even though all the gl settings in the windowed mode and the full screen mode are the same). I ran my app on a different machine (pII, 400 with TNT2 and WinNT) and it works fine in windowed and fullscreen mode. On my personal machine (p233, voodoo4 and Win95), however, something goes wrong. I believe this could be a driver issue. If anyone has any advice or possible solutions, please post them. Thanks. Oh yeah it happened when using the native Windows api stuff and in GLUT(using glutEnterGameMode). Thanks for your help. And also, thanks Nehe for such an amazing site!

This is curiouse... usually it''s the other way around.
Have you tested it on another machine?? It sounds strangly like it''s your machines fault. Perhaps update your video drivers and try again. Good luck.
