Oh yeah...How do I post images in this forum. I love to show you guy what I am doing and get some feedback....
To post images you need to use the html tags.
Please be aware of image sizes and file formats before posting though (ie. No 1200x12000 .bmp files).
Also, just so you know, to post a link to a website you can use this HTML too:
<img src="replace with url to your image">

Did you try that : http://forum.cgarena.com/viewtopic.php?p=25897 ? (see #part9). I've found the video very interesting ( http://www.umich.edu/~emaslows/forums/training_videos/surfacing/MAX_OMS-09_UVCoordinates_p1.mov )
Hey, what are you unwrapping, you may need to break it up into parts.
for a whole mesh and linked meshes you add a Unwrap UVW to the modifier list then select the uvw unwrap->face then select all the face's in the mesh, then on the objects params quad under the Map Parameters roll out select planer, then select the edit tab this will bring up the UVW edit window, then on the menu of this window select mapping then select normal mapping and play around with how you want to map it, infact you will need to try all the ways so you can see what they all do, ok hope this helps I'm new to.
