Hello, we are designing our first game and are wondering what our typical customer would be. The game is a casual one, but in 3D, not a browser game. We have read some interviews where people said the typical player is 30-40 yrs and female. Now I am wondering if you know of any links to actual figures which support the claim (or prove it wrong). I've read a lot about the different player profiles, but what I am really interested in is the actual (relative) number of those players. Thanks for any links or information, -Matthias

Here you can find some game sales statistics. There are casual/indie game sales examples, such as GISH $121,000 sales.
