Hi. New guy here, working, you see, with yet another shmup as a bit of targeting practice for next semester at university. I don't want to spend too much time on the graphics in this project (they're just supposed to be functional), so I decided to go for simple geometric shapes with some small bursts of complexity to make them look less cheap. The other two (form 1 being the top one and form 3 being the bottom one) are still under construction. Does their style look consistent to you? Does form 2 look more sturdy and powerful than form 1? Does form 3 (which is supposed to be surrounding by blue flames instead of having those tendril-like things extending from its wings) have any future at all? edit: Um ... so ... you can't include pictures in posts here? Doushite? double-edit: No links either ..? What?
